Humble-bee, hedgehog

One of the best shots of humbe-bee I was able to get last year. They are very fast and it's hard to get a good photo of them.

Today only two photos: a very small snail that took off after the rain and some grass.

Zuiko 70-300mm and Raynox DCR-250

Some technical information about using Zuiko 70-300mm with Raynox DCR-250. Skip if you want only photos. :)

All tests on manual focus. Smallest focus distance: 110-130 mm from the Raynox. Should suffice. Largest object that could be photographed: 30 mm. Magnifications and maximum object sizes:

1. Focus at infinity

DOF at 200-300 is very, very, very small even at f22.

Meadow and dandelions

Today the weather was great, so I took some photos in my neighborhood.

Meadow. It's converted from ORF (Olympus RAW file) in Raw Therapee.



A church very, very far away. Zuiko 30-700mm lens are quite handy. You could see the waving of the air - it's VERY hot today.
